Help create engaging and beautiful worship experiences. If you are musically gifted, consider joining our choir, contemporary worship band, or bell choir. If you prefer to be behind the scenes, our Tech Team is always looking for volunteers to run the soundboard, manage presentation slides, or help broadcast our weekly livestream to our online community. No prior tech experience is required; we will train you!

Immanuel Kids & Youth

Invest in the next generation by creating a safe, fun, and faith-filled environment for our children and students. Serve opportunities include rocking babies in the nursery, leading a Sunday School lesson, assisting with special family events, or mentoring teenagers at our Wednesday night youth group. (Note: All volunteers in this ministry undergo a background check to ensure the safety of our kids).

Opportunities include volunteering at our local food pantry partnerships, serving meals to those experiencing homelessness in Des Moines, or participating in special church-wide days of service.

Congregational Care

Help us care for our own church family during seasons of joy and seasons of difficulty. This compassionate team serves by visiting the homebound or hospitalized, preparing and delivering meals for families with new babies or those recovering from surgery, and faithfully praying over the requests submitted by our congregation.
